Our Clients

Deciding to deliver my first ever workshop was a big deal for me. Up until then, I’d been working with my clients on a one-to-one basis. This would be entirely different. More people means more things that could go wrong. For me, that started with the venue. I needed somewhere that was flexible, not too expensive and critically for me, somewhere between Dundee and Perth. This was particularly important as I have a solid network of contacts in both cities. Rather selfishly, I chose my local hotel, The Inchture Hotel.

Knowing Stef and Jack, the owners of the hotel was definitely a bonus, but it was also a personal risk. If the event didn’t go well, and the venue played any part in that, then it would be quite awkward to say the least. And, at the end of the day, it’s all about the experience for my clients.

I was shown a number of different options, but I knew that The Kinnaird Room would be ideal for the workshop. It was smaller, with a large bay window at the front, with a beautiful fireplace at the opposite end. The team at The Inchture Hotel made sure they understood what I wanted. They set the room out perfectly and had a roaring fire and tea and coffee ready for my workshop attendees arrival.

Although I was nervous about delivering my first workshop, knowing that the venue was perfect gave me one less thing to worry about. And, being able to borrow their projector and projection screen ticked off another important element of my event ‘to-do list’. The feedback at the end from all eight delegates was that the venue was superb.

If you’re a business or organisation looking for a place to host your next event or meeting, I’d recommend that you get in touch with Jack and Stef from The Inchture Hotel. The hotel is charming, has character and, unlike many traditional hotels, it’s not stuffy. And it’s not a soulless box, like many modern hotels. But it was the team that really made the difference. Nothing was too much trouble.

I’m planning another event at the moment which will also be hosted at The Inchture Hotel.
